Michele Li

Michele Li is a partner at Frederickson, Pribula, Li, the leading HR and People executive search firm for the innovation economy. The practice has placed hundreds of leading HR executives in the technology sector’s most successful companies, such as Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Uber, Palantir, SoFi, Fitbit, Microsoft, Gilead, Genentech, and GE.

Li oversees the HR consulting and outplacement practices, strategic partnerships and business development, and the onboarding of new executive search clients. She collaborates with CEOs, COOs, and CHROs on people and culture strategy and transformation, advising them on what kinds of leaders and HR organizations they need to scale high-growth businesses, reimagine corporate culture, prepare for public offerings, foster innovation, and manage workforce planning and reorganizations.

Outside of work, Li enjoys traveling to places she can’t locate on a map, learning about new tech trends and gadgets, rooting for the Chelsea Football Club, and lending her expertise to nonprofits that support literacy and education in developing economies. Michele is on the finance and stewardship committees for the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of Room to Read, and splits the remainder of her time among Reading Partners, Rising International, and UNICEF. Li earned a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and she studied at Fudan University in Shanghai and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She speaks Cantonese and Mandarin and lives in San Francisco.
