Sourcecon Webinar

High-Volume Hiring: Ready, Set, OFFER!

Sorry, this webinar has ended.

We’re all familiar with that sinking feeling. You’ve interviewed the perfect candidate, and sent a full summary of exactly why they’re the one, only to be met with a lukewarm reception and a question about whether anyone else applied. High volume sourcing is already pressured enough, and soliciting timely decisions from hiring managers can often be a roadblock in the process.

In this webinar we’ll discuss a potential solution, the invitational only high volume event, bringing multiple candidates onsite to take a look at the company in operation and meet with several managers in one day.

Properly managed, the benefits of such an event are clear. The candidate doesn’t have to go through multiple levels of phone interviews, and the hiring manager can see how a candidate interacts onsite and with his team. Managers can pull in peers from other areas to help assess how the candidate will best fit into the organization. Hiring decisions can be made in a much timelier manner.

Join our free webinar on Thursday, August 13 for practical tips on setting up and managing high volume invitation only events.

Our speaker, Claudine Farrell, will share her experience with high volume recruiting, and some do’s and don’ts for successful invitational events.

I have worked at Northrop Grumman Corporation for ten years. In my current position, I am the Manager of the Talent Acquisition Sourcing team and  responsible for standing up and leading a team of expert sourcing professionals. The primary objective of the team is to identify and qualify prospective candidates and build a robust talent pipeline for current and future positions. We focus on driving candidate generation strategies in partnership with the business units, Talent Acquisition managers and recruiters. I have the opportunity to be part of a start-up team focused on making an impact on the business while recruiting for smart and innovative talent. As part of my role I manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline, demonstrate the ability to anticipate future talent needs, set benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer requirements. I have extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and the ability to network with all functional areas of the business to understand current and future staffing requirements.
